Lower your CO2 footprint
With over 30 years expertise in raw materials, we have carefully built our portfolio of materials. In recent years, one topic has become more important than ever.
Let us introduce Mape Green – sustainable solutions to our full portfolio, including standard, engineering and high-performance thermoplastics. A wide range of over 170 grades, make sure that we can find the perfect fit for you.
With world-leading suppliers, we follow the rapid development in sustainability. We are impressed by their investments in smarter production methods, better energy recovery, and new groundbreaking ways to make plastics.
Based on your needs, and how critical the component is, we can propose a material that meets all requirements. Fully recycled or mixed with new raw materials to guarantee high performance.
Invest in your CO2 footprint today, with Mape Green.

There’s no need to compromise on performance
We have the perfect solution for you, delivering quality, performance and desired CO2 value. For applications with high demands on FDA approval, hygiene control or performance, there are several different ways to go.
Our suppliers offer rich information of how the properties, like impact strength and elongation at break, change depending on the percentage of recycled in the mix. There are several qualities to explore in order to maintain desired characteristics.
Your partner in the green transition
Sustainability is not only about raw materials, but also about designing smartly for better recycling, not using more material than necessary and producing ethically and environmentally. Not least avoiding unnecessary transports across the globe.
In recent years, many companies have embarked to move their production back home to the Nordics, for better control and environmental impact. In these cases, we stand for a smooth and stable distribution, supplying the manufacturing with the right material at the right time. Always close at hand, empowering you in your green transition.
RECYCLING methods
There are several methods of recycling plastic. Unfortunately, we know that much of the plastic today goes to energy recovery. But it is entirely possible to recycle thermoplastics, either chemically or mechanically. Something we hope to see more of.
Mechanical recycling
Mechanical recycling means that the plastic is melted down before it is reshaped. This method works well for common thermoplastics such as for example PP and PE. If you manage to maintain good quality of the plastic, and clean and sort it correctly, the plastic can be recycled several times with satisfying results.
Chemical recycling
Chemical recycling means that the plastic’s polymer chain is broken down into monomers or other smaller hydrocarbons, which are then transformed into new polymers. This enables recycling of complex plastics and provides a circular flow where the material continues to maintain good quality.
