- Semi-crystalline structure with a glass transition temperature of 126 C and a melting point of 312 C
- Very good mechanical properties, such as stiffness and tensile strength
- Good creep properties up to 200 C
- Good chemical resistance to oils, fats, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Limited to strong acids.
- Relatively low moisture absorption
- Good abrasion and friction properties

Polyphthalamide (PPA)
Polyphthalamide (PPA) is a semi-crystalline and partial an aromatic high temperature plastic, that can be used for long periods of temperatures up to 185 C. PPA has very good mechanical properties and high stiffness at a reasonable cost.
