Mape Plastics is one of the leading distributors of raw materials for the plastics industry in the Nordic region. We offer a wide range of products that includes everything from volume to engineering plastics and high-performance thermoplastics.

Due to our continuous development and many years of experience in the plastics industry, we can help both existing and new customers with everything from the material selection to technical consultations regarding the plastics and their properties. Of course, we will always try to present the best, as well as the most cost-effective options for your materials. Mape Plastics is your knowledgeable partner.

Close to our customers

In 2015, Mape Plastics invested in our own warehouse at our headquarters in Borås. Since then, we have expanded with four external warehouses in Vallhamn, Ulricehamn, Anderstorp and Gävle, as well as three sales offices in Värnamo, Brantevik and Köping.

This nationwide presence allows us to stay close to our customers and ensure fast, reliable deliveries when the need arises. As a family-owned business with short decision-making paths, we are a flexible and solution-oriented partner.

MAGNUS AND PER

In 2001, the brothers Magnus and Per Waldenström founded the polymer company Mape Plastics. The strategy behind the company was to create something new and innovative in the plastics industry. The brothers came up with the idea of offering a broad portfolio that included the best conceivable plastic materials in the industry. 25 years later, we can proudly state that we have a strong product range and a stable distribution system that provides our customers with confidence. As one of few independent distributors in the Nordics, we can offer exclusive access to what we believe in.

Currently, our strong team is comprised of 8 passionate employees who are committed to everything we do, which is reflected in the daily contact with our customers.

Magnus Waldenström is no longer with us, he passed away in the end of 2025 after a period of illness.
