PVDF

PVDF is a special thermoplastic fluoropolymer that has very good resistance to almost all chemicals. It is useful in many applications thanks to its wide temperature range and good strength properties. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is an inert material that does not emit any substances during use, which makes it very suitable for applications in the food and pharmaceutical fields. PVDF is often used in long-term handling and storage of aggressive chemicals.

PVDF Properties

  • High temperature resistance
  • Very good chemical resistance (even at high temperatures)
  • Good electrical properties
  • Almost no moisture absorption
  • Naturally flame retardant
  • Excellent aging properties
  • Low coefficient of friction
  • Excellent weldability

Mingaflour®

Mingafluor granules are produced exclusively from industrial waste that has been thoroughly cleaned and sorted, enabling us to guarantee consistently excellent material quality in every batch. The machinery we use is laid out to meet the specific production requirements for high-quality fluoroplastics. If you need recycled fluoroplastic granules with specific properties, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials division will happily compound Mingafluor according to your individual requirements.
